NB Please note that since I wrote this post, Pond5 have standardised pricing on all my clips as I am non-exclusive. So my whole clip collection is now available at the bargain price of 84 GBP (roughly US $100)!
I am reviewing my distribution of video stock, so grab a bargain while you can! Throughout January, I have been busy uploading and tagging dozens of new clips on Pond5. This includes recent clips from Greece and Romania, plus a lot more of my footage from the Scottish Highlands. Prices are set high on the clips, though Pond5 are very flexible on prices and do contact them if you are working on a project with a low budget. I have also uploaded a lot more of my drone footage from the UK (mostly Scotland, but some England as well!) and hope to add much more UK drone video stock footage over the course of 2022. Tagging, editing and submitting clips to Pond5 does take time (aside from the actual filming) and it is always a good idea to contact me with specific needs, as I may have it in my archive, but not got around to uploading it. Likewise if you have an ongoing need for specific subject matter in the UK, especially drone shots. One set of clips that are useful in 2022 is the two drone sessions I did at Hadrian's Wall in Northumbria National Park, as this year is the 2,000th anniversary of the completion of the famous landmark. I hope to film some more aerial footage of Hadrian's Wall later this year. I've also uploaded - though not finished tagging - lots of clips from the late part of the civil war in Nepal (which sadly are in 720p) from 2009-2010 documenting daily life in Kathmandu (pre-earthquake) and the messy peace process between the Nepalese state and the Maoists. I also have started supplying the specialist wildlife agency Nature Footage with both ground and aerial wildlife-related stock footage video clips and now have almost 300 available. Some of the work I will upload to Nature Footage may not be also available on Pond5, so please check out my collection there too!

Like most artists, I have been taking a close interest in the NFT phenomena. Having recently realised that Opensea opened a gas-free marketplace, I was busy uploading some of my photographs and artwork as NFTs.
View my NFT portfolio on Opensea All the images in this portfolio are priced in ETH (Ethereum), though actually the Opensea uses Polygon (which is on the ETH platform). The average price is ETH 0.46, though some are less. It is a good time to invest in my NFTs (and those of others). Aside from my photographs, I also mint NFTs of my digital paintings, which I started making in 2021. |
